Description

“Purpose without action is ineffective at best, useless at worst.”

Dr. Mirella De Civita, President of Papillon MDC

At Papillon MDC Inc., purpose is the driving force behind everything we do. Our purpose is to transform lives, whether it’s within an office tower or in a community in Africa.

That is why we have designed a series of four Lunch & Learn sessions for us to share with you our knowledge of various work-related topics that impact leadership and wellbeing. Come and join us in one or all sessions. See this time as an opportunity for you to learn with other colleagues and at the same time contribute to a project that is closely tied to our purpose.

Cost: $10 (or more) monetary donation will go to help build a school in the Community of So-Ava, Benin, Africa. To learn more about our efforts and commitment, please click here. You will be part of our plan to join arms with our colleagues at Umalia and a group of dedicated business leaders in increasing access to education, increasing literacy rates, and helping a community thrive despite hardships.

There will be a box placed at the entrance for your donation. All funds are collected and given to the committee overseeing this project.

Grab a bite as lunch is served, learn something new, and pay it forward.

Note: The event will run with a minimum of 10 leaders. In case of cancellation, you will be contacted. Therefore, please leave your correct name, number and email address when you book your seat.

Coming Up:

Date: May 2019, 12:00-13:00.

Place: 2001 boul. Robert-Bourassa, Montréal, QC H3A 1T9, 17th floor

Subject: The Psychology of Bad Leadership

Summary: In this seminar, we will explore the dark side of personalities and begin to unravel how people labeled as great leaders turn out to be malice and calculated. The psychology of bad leadership is complex, and multifaceted. Hidden in plain sight are leaders who work the system, the policies, and people to achieve their goals, and sadly leave behind a trail of sorrow. Join me as we explore the psychology of power, manipulation, and deceit.

Facilitator: Mirella De Civita
