CASE STUDY: BOB AT WORK

Consider the following scenario:

Bob has had to terminate the position of three people on his marketing team due to budget cuts. Unbeknownst to him, the remaining 5 employees are showing signs of disengagement. One by one, they are complaining about the redistribution of tasks. Bob is very worried as he fears this change in team structure will cause them to miss the launch date of a new product. He has already negotiated with his manager a new release date. If he misses, he will be stuck explaining the substantial loss in revenue, and he risks being fired.
